This was a tough episode to name. Zane is an Episcopal priest who was divorced but is now married to a Muslim; he moved to Africa straight out of college; his non-profit has evolved into a business with products in Whole Foods; and he was molested at a young age. I suppose that’s a bit like life…how do you really categorize or label all the experiences we’ve been through? How do you give it a succinct title?
Amongst other things, Zane talks about his faith, learning to manage your money, the complicated world of international development, how molestation affects the way you view yourself, and what he’s learned about himself as his NGO almost crashed and burned multiple times.
